  • Which Bugzilla server verions are supported?

    All uncustomized stable Bugzilla server releases greater or equal to 3.4 are supported, including: 3.4, 3.6, 4.0, 4.2

  • What kind of connection protocols are supported (https etc.)?

    You can connect over http or https, and the https connection works even with an untrusted certificate.

  • My server uses HTTP authentication. Is this supported?

    Http authentication is also supported, you can use the http://username:password@server.com format in the URL.

  • I want to use the anonymous login feature. Any support for that?

    Absolutely! In the account settings page, tick the anonymous login checkbox.

  • Bugzi says it encountered a parsing error when connecting to an account - what can I do?

    First of all, make sure you entered the correct connection details in the Account Manager. Retype your password if necessary. If you are sure you have entered the correct credentials, double check the Server version, and make sure you are using an uncustomized Bugzilla server.

  • Is Bugzi free, or is it a paid app?

    We have two editions: the Lite and the Pro edition. The Lite edition has limited functionality, and it is available free of charge on the Android Market. Without a valid Pro licence, Bugzi will run in Lite mode. The features of the Pro edition can be unlocked with a Key App, which can be found among the paid apps on the Android Market.

  • What is the difference between the Lite and the Pro edition?

    The Lite edition has limited functionality. You can use the Lite edition in case you need only a read only client for Bugzilla, or if you want to find out if it is worth to pay for the Pro edition. The Pro edition has all the supported features, with which you can also create and edit bugs, add your own queries to list the bugs, and handle multiple Bugzilla accounts.   • How can I have the Pro features?

    Download the Bugzi App from the Android Market. Without a valid licence, it will run in Lite mode with limited functionality. In case you want to unlock the Pro features in Bugzi, you need to buy the Bugzi Pro Key App. Once the Pro Key is installed, restart Bugzi, and the Bugzi app will detect that you have a valid licence, and all the Pro features get enabled. With this concept, there is no need to do any migration if you decide to upgrade from Lite to Pro - all your settings are preserved in the Bugzi app.

  • How can I detect if my Bugzi is a Lite or Pro edition?

    There are two simple ways to make sure. First, you can check if the "Add new bug" functionality is enabled - if yes, you have the Pro edition. Alternatively, go to the application Settings, and check the About screen - it displays the application edition.

  • I installed the Pro Key, but Buzi is still running in Lite mode - what shall I do?

    When you install the Pro Key, make sure you exited the Bugzi App before that. If not, try to re-launch the Bugzi App.
    In case Bugzi detects the presence of the Key App, a licence check is performed at the Android Market. Thus you must have internet connection during the licence check.

  • I have a question, bugreport, feature suggestion, or another kind of comment - how can I contact the developers?

    If you found a bug, please mail us first with the bug details, and we will do our best to find a solution for you - latest with a new bugfix release including a couple of fixes. Please do not use the Android Market comments to submit bugreports, as we can not get in touch with you the help you out.
